Blue Arch At The Top

Car Sort Level 101 has a top blue arch and a tall U-shaped road down the right side. Most of the playable cars begin in stacked horizontal rows below the arch, with black cars guarding several rows. Blue runs along the right edge later in the solution, so the right road must stay clear.

The route is not to empty the black rows first. Instead, open the arch area, release the green and purple rows in the middle, then use the right road for yellow, white, red, and blue. The top arch is the traffic light for the whole level.

Route Reference

Follow this order:

  1. Blue from the top arch area
  2. Red cars on the upper-right road
  3. Green middle row
  4. Purple middle row
  5. Yellow lower-middle row
  6. White lower row
  7. Blue right-side cleanup
  8. Remaining red cars

Blue starts because the arch and right edge are already part of the route. Green and purple then open the stacked rows. Yellow and white should wait until the black row pressure has eased.

How To Clear The Rows

Begin with the blue cars connected to the top arch. These moves open the mouth of the right-side road. If a red car is blocking the same lane, clear the exposed red next, but do not dive into the lower rows yet.

Once the top is open, move the green row. Green sits across the middle and creates a large open shelf when cleared. Purple should come right after green because it occupies the next shelf and uses the same path through the right road.

Yellow is the first lower row to release. Move it only after green and purple are no longer competing for the right lane. White follows yellow because it sits below the middle stack and can use the newly opened shelf.

Now return to blue. In the later route reference, blue travels down the right edge and into the garage cleanly. This only works if the right road has not been filled with leftover yellow or purple cars. Finish with red if any red cars are still sitting near the top or lower-right side.

Fixing A Bad State

If the level stalls, look at the right vertical road. A car parked there blocks every row behind it. Finish that color before opening the next horizontal shelf. The top arch should remain a pass-through point; do not let it become storage for mixed colors.

Level 101 becomes simple once the middle rows are drained in order: arch, green, purple, yellow, white, blue.

The best visual checkpoint is the right road. When that road shows a clean vertical lane, the next horizontal shelf can safely empty. When it contains two colors, stop opening shelves and finish one of those colors first. This keeps the top arch useful instead of turning it into a bottleneck.
