Car Sort Level 122 Solution Walkthrough
Route Reference
Key opening, middle, and finish positions for this route.

Long Horizontal Loop
Car Sort Level 122 is a wide board with a long horizontal loop through the middle. Orange cars stretch across the center, black-backed stacks sit near the top, and the bottom is divided into several narrow garage groups. Blue, white, purple, green, red, and yellow all need the same center road at different times.
The center orange row is the main traffic problem. If it is left too long, it blocks the lower garages. If it is moved too early, the top and bottom stacks have nowhere to pass. The route opens the top first, then clears orange as a middle checkpoint.
Route Order
Use this route:
- Purple top-left and top-center cars
- Black-backed top blockers
- Orange center row
- Green lower-left group
- White left-side cleanup
- Blue right-side group
- Brown lower-right group
- Red and yellow final cars
Purple clears the first top pressure. Orange is the pivot of the level, but it should move after the top blockers have created room. Blue and brown are later because their side garages depend on the center road being open.
Middle Row Strategy
Start with purple near the top. Clear the exposed purple cars so the upper row can feed into the loop. Then remove the black-backed blockers that sit over the middle road. These moves create enough space for the center orange row.
Orange should be handled as a full phase. Move the orange cars across the middle without mixing in green or blue. Once orange leaves, the bottom groups finally have access to the long road.
Green from the lower-left is the next useful release. It opens the left-bottom area and makes the white group safer. Clear white after green, then shift to the right side for blue. Blue should not be started while orange is still occupying the center.
Brown on the lower-right comes after blue. At that point the horizontal loop is mostly open, so red and yellow can close the level. If one of the final colors is blocked, look for a car sitting in the center road rather than tapping another bottom stack.
Practical Recovery
When Level 122 feels stuck, the answer is usually the middle lane. Finish the color already traveling through the lane, especially orange or blue, before opening a new garage group. The board has enough room when the top blockers are gone and the orange row has been cleared.
A good checkpoint is the long orange strip. Before it moves, stay near the top and left-side blockers. After it moves, shift your attention to the lower garages. That change in priority is what prevents the wide road from filling with cars that belong to different sides of the board.
Keep the bottom groups separate during the finish.
