Small Gate, Big Bottom Stack
The replay for Level 153 show the pattern clearly: a small mixed block at the top is gating several bottom columns. Yellow, white, and purple are in the upper block; red, blue, cyan, and yellow wait below.
Clear the gate before touching the bottom columns. Move yellow from the upper block, then white from the same block. Next remove the purple upper blocker so the bottom has an actual exit lane.
Once the gate is open, drain the bottom in batches: red columns first, then blue/cyan, and finally the remaining yellow lower cars. This keeps the bottom rows from mixing inside the small top lane.
Recommended path:
yellow upper block -> white upper block -> purple gate -> red bottom columns -> blue/cyan bottom -> yellow lower cars
If red gets stuck, it usually means purple was opened too late or the upper block still has a car sitting in the gate.
Gate Clearing Detail
Level 153 is shorter than several nearby levels, but it still needs a deliberate opener. The bottom columns contain most of the cars, yet they cannot move until the small upper block stops acting like a gate.
- Move yellow from the upper block. Yellow removes the first part of the gate. Do not pull red from the bottom while yellow is still sitting above the exit.
- Clear the white upper cars next. White widens the same gate and helps expose the purple blocker behind it.
- Use purple to finish opening the gate. Purple is the last upper-block color that controls the vertical exit. Once it moves, the bottom columns can feed cleanly.
- Pull red from the bottom columns. Red is the first full lower batch. Move it only after the gate is open so it does not stop halfway.
- Move blue and cyan together as the next lower phase. These cars are packed near the bottom and should use the cleared red route.
- Close with yellow lower cars. The remaining yellow cars are no longer blockers at this point; they are the final visible cleanup.
The route reference shows a completion pop-up and replay section, so if you are unsure, compare the replay opener: upper yellow and white leave before the bottom columns take over.
Short-Level Precision
Car Sort: Color Puzzle Level 153 is shorter than many late levels, so every early mistake shows up quickly. The page's route notes shows that the top gate is small, but it controls the whole route. Yellow and white are not optional openers; they are what let red and blue from the bottom travel without stopping.
If the bottom red cars are stuck, check the top gate. If purple is still blocking that gate, red will not finish cleanly. If blue and cyan are mixed in the lower lane, finish whichever one has the clearest garage path before tapping another bottom column. The level is simple only when the gate is opened first.
