Car Sort Level 18 Solution Walkthrough
Clearing The Left Loop
Yellow and green open the left loop, followed by the wide pink blocker. Red, cyan, purple, and orange should not share that middle road.
Use this practical order:
yellow -> green -> pink -> red -> cyan -> purple -> orange -> blue cleanup
Level Overview
Level 18 is built around three horizontal parking rows inside a left-side loop. Yellow and green open the lower and left sides, pink forms an early horizontal blocker, and red/cyan/purple/orange take over once the center is open.
The main blocker is the pink middle row and the left-side loop entrance. The solution works by opening that route one color group at a time.
Goal
Open the left loop, remove the pink middle blocker, and reserve the cleared center for the later rows.
Main Strategy
Yellow and green create the opening. Pink controls the center; red, cyan, purple, orange, and blue follow only after it leaves.
Step-by-Step Walkthrough
Step 1: Start with yellow at the lower-left route
The video moves yellow early from the top and bottom lanes. Yellow opens the bottom-left route and prevents the lower stacks from being sealed off.
Step 2: Move green through the left side
Green follows as the next road opener. It travels along the left edge and clears the path for cars sitting behind the horizontal rows.
Step 3: Clear the pink horizontal row
Pink is one of the clearest blockers in this level. Clearing the pink row opens a broad middle lane and turns the board from crowded to workable.
Step 4: Send red through the outer loop
Red becomes safe after yellow, green, and pink have made space. Move the red cars around the left loop and top row before switching to deeper colors.
Step 5: Move cyan from the middle
Cyan sits in the central rows and bottom stacks. Clear it after red so it can pass through the middle without blocking the pink/orange lanes.
Step 6: Finish with purple, orange, and blue
Purple and orange become clean late-game groups once the middle is open. Blue is mostly a final cleanup color in the lower-right/top stacks.
Recommended Order Summary
Use this color-batch route:
yellow -> green -> pink -> red -> cyan -> purple -> orange -> blue cleanup
If the loop blocks, finish the row already feeding its left entrance rather than selecting a lower color.
Key Tips
- Do not mix random colors on the main road.
- Keep one newly emptied lane available as a buffer.
- Clear the row or road mouth that blocks the next visible batch.
- Move same-color cars together whenever the route is open.
- Use the replay frames to confirm the same order if you need to reset.
Why This Solution Works
Yellow/green make room for pink, pink releases the middle, and the remaining colors receive progressively shorter routes around the opened loop.
