Four Top Towers And A Locked Inner Yard
Car Sort: Color Puzzle Level 214 places four tall towers above a square road. Inside the square are four more vertical parking groups, several chained covers, and two counters near the bottom-middle. Three numbered banks stand below the road. The top towers eventually form clear pale-purple, yellow, purple, red, and orange columns, while the inner yard and bottom banks supply green, cyan, pink, dark red, and late cleanup colors.
The difficulty is the locked inner yard. Cars released from a top tower travel around the outside loop, while cars from the inner columns enter the same road through short side openings. If a top and inner batch start together, they meet at a corner and prevent the bottom counters from clearing.
Use this route reference:
left inner green -> exposed cyan and yellow -> top yellow -> top purple -> inner pink -> inner pale-purple -> red/orange top towers -> bottom green -> bottom cyan/pink -> dark-red cleanup
Area order is more important than forcing an exact color when a counter reveals a different layer. Complete the active road color and keep one side of the square empty.
Open The Inner Yard From The Left
The bright-green block at the lower-left of the inner yard is the best opening target. It sits beside the road and clearing it creates a tall empty pocket. Move green as one batch. Do not open the bottom banks while green is circulating.
Cyan and yellow become practical after that pocket opens. Cyan occupies the lower-middle approach, while yellow appears in the inner counter and the tall top column. Clear the exposed inner batch first, then use the matching top tower only when the corner is free.
Opening checks:
- green no longer fills the lower-left inner column;
- the left road edge is clear;
- cyan or yellow uses the loop alone;
- the inner counter decreases without a second counter being opened.
If green stalls at the bottom-left corner, complete green from the same column. Releasing top yellow will not create space; it will occupy the opposite corner and lock the square.
Use The Yellow And Purple Towers As Midgame Anchors
The two central top towers become long yellow and purple columns. They are the strongest visual checkpoints in Level 214. Yellow should move after the inner entrance is open. Finish the full visible yellow batch and wait for the top road to clear.
Purple follows through the same opened route. Do not alternate yellow and purple cars. Their towers are adjacent, but both merge onto one top edge. A mixed queue there blocks every inner column below them.
Pink appears in the left-center inner column during the middle phase. Move pink after yellow or purple has cleared a side. Pale purple then uses the empty inner channel. The route reference shows these inner columns becoming cleaner before the top red and orange towers finish.
Midgame rhythm:
- complete one tall top color;
- clear the matching road corner;
- release one inner column;
- wait for its color to reach a garage;
- return to the next tall top color.
This alternation is based on areas, not individual cars. It prevents the top bank from continuously feeding the loop while the inner yard is trying to empty.
Delay The Bottom Banks Until The Square Opens
The three numbered banks below the loop contain reserve layers. Their visible front cars can enter the road immediately, but they must use the same lower edge as the inner counters. Leave them closed until the green opening column, yellow/purple towers, and at least one pink or pale-purple inner group are gone.
Open one bottom bank at a time. Green is a common first useful layer because the inner green route has already been established. Cyan and pink follow when their matching roads are clear. If a counter reveals a different color, stop reducing it and complete the current batch before continuing.
The late checkpoints show the bottom banks reorganized into clean green, pink, and pale-purple columns while the top holds red, yellow, purple, and orange. This is the cleanup state. Clear the lower column closest to an empty corner, then take the top tower on that same side.
Avoid opening all three bottom counters simply because the inner yard looks spacious. The space inside the square is not a second route; cars still merge onto one lower edge.
Finish Red And Orange Without Refilling The Loop
Red and orange become prominent in the right top towers late in the solution. Leave them until the yellow and purple center towers have shortened. Red can then travel around the right side without meeting inner traffic. Orange follows after red reaches its garage.
Dark red remains in an inner or lower column near the finish. Treat it as a separate cleanup batch. Starting dark red while bright red is still on the road can be misleading because the colors are visually close but may belong to different garages or counter layers. Wait for the first red batch to complete.
Before the final cyan and pink groups, verify that the inner yard contains no hidden yellow or purple layer. A remaining center car can block the lower-right turn and strand an otherwise clean bottom column.
For recovery from a crowded loop:
- stop opening counters;
- find the color farthest around the square;
- finish that color from its current tower or inner column;
- clear the second color already on the road;
- resume from the leftmost unfinished inner group.
If the top edge is blocked, work only on the active top color. If the bottom edge is blocked, work only on the exposed bottom-bank color. If both are blocked, finishing the batch that has already rounded a side releases a corner fastest.
The completion route succeeds because each phase creates a vertical opening. Inner green opens the left, yellow and purple reduce the top center, pink and pale purple empty the inner yard, and red/orange use the fully available outside loop. The bottom banks then feed green, cyan, and pink through a road that no longer receives hidden center traffic.
Level 214 looks like a tower-clearing puzzle, but its real resource is an empty corner. Never occupy all four corners with mixed colors. Preserve one escape side, finish complete batches, and the three lower counters can be handled without guessing or restarting.
