Descend the staircase

Begin with the exposed green shelf at the upper-left, then clear the short purple group beside it. Blue follows from the next shelf, opening the middle of the staircase. Yellow is the next visible full row, with orange and dark red behind it.

Use:

green → purple → blue → yellow → orange → dark red → pale cyan → pink → upper green/violet towers

Finish each shelf before tapping the one underneath. Yellow and orange share the lower-right turn; mixing them there is the most common way to stall the board. Dark red clears the longest middle bar and reveals pale cyan.

Pale cyan and pink form the lower transition. Cyan goes first because its garage path is already open. Pink follows after cyan has vacated the bottom edge.

The upper towers become late full-column batches. Drain green, violet, cyan, and pink according to the exposed faces, one tower at a time. The two lower covers are cleanup reserves after the staircase has disappeared.

If the center is crowded, return to the highest incomplete shelf. If the bottom road is blocked, finish yellow, orange, cyan, or pink. Do not open a tower merely because its face is visible; wait until the matching center shelf is complete.

Read the staircase from its exposed edge

The center is not a collection of independent rows. Each short shelf overlaps the next one down, so the usable face moves diagonally from the upper-left toward the lower-right. Green begins nearest the open edge. Purple sits just beyond it, followed by blue and yellow. Clearing the highest complete step exposes more of the row underneath and keeps the square road from receiving two colors at the same corner.

Send the first green group until the entire small face becomes dark. Purple follows only after the upper-left curve is clear. Blue then opens a wider section of the staircase. At this stage the four roof towers should remain parked, even if one shows a complete column, because their cars use the same top edge as the unfinished center steps.

Yellow marks the move into the lower half. Its row approaches the right-hand bend and can be longer than the earlier green step. Let every yellow marker clear before opening orange. Orange occupies the next exposed bar, while burgundy or dark red forms a broad shelf beneath it. That dark-red shelf is the last major obstacle separating the upper and lower portions of the center.

Protect the lower-right turn

The square gives plenty of total road length, but nearly every staircase group enters at the right or lower edge. That makes the lower-right turn the limiting space. During yellow and orange, do not release a bottom reserve or a roof stack. A second convoy can travel around the left side for a while, yet both groups eventually meet at this same turn.

After dark red clears, pale cyan becomes a clean lower face. Complete cyan first, then pink. Cyan's source is closer to the road and leaves a dark bay that pink can use while merging. If pink starts first, a remaining cyan car may sit behind it and hide the fact that the staircase is not finished.

The replay's middle checkpoint shows dark red and orange as solid horizontal bars, yellow immediately above them, and only a few mixed steps left at the top. Use this picture to diagnose an early tower release: if the top road is full while those bars remain colored, finish the center face already connected to the road and leave the tower untouched.

Empty the roof towers after the steps flatten

Once the staircase has become broad, orderly horizontal bars with dark gaps between them, the upper columns can move. Green is often the first complete roof face, followed by violet or pale cyan. Pink stands at the right and should wait until the top-right corner is empty. Work one tower at a time rather than alternating matching colors between two columns.

The roof stacks are tall enough that their source can appear dark before the earliest car has reached its garage. Confirm that the outer road contains no marker from that tower. Then select the next complete face. A returning red or green row inside the square has priority if it directly touches the road, because it otherwise blocks the next tower's entrance.

The two lower covered reserves are cleanup groups. Their faces become readable only after the center has released enough space. Clear the left reserve, allow the bottom edge to empty, and then take the right. Do not use either reserve to fill a pause during the central descent.

Repair an out-of-order staircase

If traffic stalls near the top, look for an unfinished green, purple, or blue step. Near the right edge, check yellow, orange, pale cyan, and pink. Complete the highest visible face associated with the stationary road car; deeper steps cannot pass it.

When two colors are mixed around opposite sides of the square, wait before restarting. The leading batch may still have an open garage and clear on its own. If it does, finish the trailing source immediately. Restart only if the leading destination remains covered and neither color can move.

A reliable retry follows four visual phases: open the green-purple-blue edge, clear yellow-orange-red through the lower turn, finish cyan and pink, then drain roof and bottom columns. The staircase becomes simpler after each full face, provided the next layer is not opened before the road is dark.
