Read the ladder by height

The upper left shelves expose yellow and dotted blue, followed by green and purple. The right shelves show green, red, cyan, and covered groups behind cylinders. Lower rungs reveal orange, blue, yellow, burgundy, and pale purple.

Use this route reference:

yellow upper-left → blue dotted shelf → green upper-right → purple left shelf → first cylinder release → red right row → cyan left row → green right row → orange lower-left → second and third cylinder releases → blue and yellow lower rows → burgundy and purple bottom groups → fourth cylinder → final red, green, cyan, and pink

Always clear the highest complete rung touching the road. Lower colors cannot pass a stranded upper convoy.

Build a dark corridor at the top

Start with yellow from the highest left shelf. Blue follows from the dotted face. Green then clears from the upper-right rung, and purple leaves from the next left rung.

Wait between sides. Even though the garages alternate, every car merges into the same vertical lane. Switching sides while a marker remains places two colors nose-to-tail with no passing space.

These four groups reduce the first cylinder. The opening checkpoint is a dark top corridor, an open upper cylinder, and a complete red or cyan face immediately below.

Descend through the middle rungs

Red clears from the right. Cyan follows from the left after red leaves the upper lane. Green then moves from the next right shelf. Orange becomes available on the lower-left and should wait until green has fully disappeared.

Clear orange as one convoy. Its departure lowers the next cylinder and exposes blue or yellow deeper in the ladder. Preserve each open cylinder bay as empty merging space.

Do not tap a single visible color behind a remaining cylinder. Wait for a full horizontal face; the neighboring rung still owns the route.

Open the lower cylinders

Blue and yellow form the next pair. Clear the higher rung first, then the lower one. Burgundy follows from the longer dark-red row, with pale purple after it.

These groups finish the second and third cylinder countdowns. If two counters change close together, still wait for the active road markers before continuing. The animation does not guarantee that the lane is empty.

At the late checkpoint, the upper half of the ladder should be dark and the final cylinder should show a reduced number. Only a few complete lower rungs remain.

Finish from the nearest lower rung

Red, green, cyan, and pink can return in the final layers. Take whichever complete face is highest and directly connected to the vertical road. Continue downward rather than selecting by color preference.

The last batch often starts from a low right shelf and travels the full vertical lane. Give it an empty road. Completion follows when all four cylinders have retracted and no colored rung remains.

Use the left and right rungs as separate queues

Although the road is a single vertical strip, the shelves feed it from opposite sides. The opening shows yellow and dotted blue near the top-left, with green and dotted purple entering from the right. Empty the upper-left pair first, let the vertical lane return to black, and then take the complete right-hand face. Alternating sides before a batch has finished creates the false impression that two cars can pass each other; they cannot.

The numbered cylinders provide four clean pause points. After the first drops, green occupies a long right rung while purple and cyan remain on the left. After the next release, a burgundy row becomes prominent on the right and orange appears lower on the left. At both points, choose the higher complete rung. Its position matters more than whether a matching color is visible near the bottom.

Late in the replay, the left shelves settle into pale blue, purple, orange, and blue groups, while the right shelves hold burgundy, dotted blue, yellow, and green. This is the easiest phase to misread because nearly every row is exposed. Continue descending by height: complete the row nearest the top of the open road, wait for its last marker to pass the lower exit, then move to the next rung. The final pink and pale-violet groups appear only after enough upper shelves have gone dark.

If the road counter rises but a rung does not darken, return to that same source and complete it. Moving to the opposite side at that moment splits the queue around a cylinder and removes the only safe waiting position.

Recovery on a one-lane board

A jam near the top requires the matching upper yellow, blue, green, or purple face. A jam in the middle points to red, cyan, green, or orange. A jam near the bottom belongs to blue, yellow, burgundy, purple, or the final returning groups.

If a cylinder remains numbered, complete the rung immediately above or beside it. Sending a color from below cannot open the skipped cover. Follow the ladder's height rather than searching for a matching color elsewhere.

When two colors enter the lane, stop and finish the upper one. It blocks the route for every lower car. If its matching shelf is still visible, clear it completely. Restart only if that shelf is covered and the lower convoy prevents movement.

An early lower orange batch may be recoverable after the current green row clears. Finish orange immediately, then return to the highest exposed rung. Do not add blue while orange is on the lane.

Level 424 is a strict descending solution. Yellow-blue-green-purple create the top corridor; red-cyan-green-orange open the middle cylinders; blue-yellow-burgundy-purple clear the lower rungs; and red-green-cyan-pink finish the deepest layers. Read the board like a ladder, keep every cylinder bay empty, and the single vertical road remains clear from top to bottom.
