Car Sort: Color Puzzle Level 458 route reference

Board Shape

The opening position shows red, orange, purple, cream, cyan, yellow, green, and blue groups. The center has stacked horizontal shelves, with orange and cream sitting on the left side and cyan/yellow parked closer to the right. The bottom row contains several small garages with red, pink, orange, blue, and purple colors waiting behind the main road.

Recommended order:

orange center-left -> cream lower-left shelf -> cyan middle row -> yellow right column -> blue lower-left -> green bottom-left -> pink and purple cleanup -> red upper shelf

The order may look unusual because red is visible early. Red should wait, since it does not open the center as efficiently as orange, cream, and cyan.

Clear The Center Shelves

Start with the orange group on the center-left shelf. It is the cleanest opener because it removes a bulky horizontal block and makes the road easier to read. Follow with the cream row below it. These two moves create a wider middle lane and stop the board from trapping cars between the left shelves and the right column.

Cyan becomes the next safe color once the center has space. Move cyan as a complete batch. If a cyan car is still parked against the right side, do not begin yellow yet. Yellow needs the tall right lane to stay clean, and mixing it with cyan is the most common way to lose the route.

Right Yellow Column

The yellow column is powerful, but it is not the opener. Use it after orange, cream, and cyan have thinned the center. When yellow leaves, it clears the right side and makes the bottom row easier to access. This is the main checkpoint for Level 458: the right edge should no longer be packed, and the center shelves should have at least one obvious empty lane.

After yellow, move blue from the lower-left area, then green from the bottom-left. These colors can now travel through the center without getting parked behind yellow.

Bottom Row Finish

Only after the middle is stable should you open pink and purple from the bottom garages. Pink has a short travel route once the center is clear, while purple uses the remaining lower-right space. Red is best handled late if it remains on the upper shelf, because by then the road can absorb the red batch without trapping the smaller cleanup colors.

Recovery Advice

If the board stops matching the route reference, do not immediately empty the bottom garages. First check whether yellow was started before cyan finished. Clear the active cyan or yellow group, then rebuild from the center. If the bottom row is already mixed, prioritize the color with the clearest path into the central lane, usually blue or green, and leave pink/purple until the last shelf opens.
