Alternate Banks Without Mixing The Spine

Level 49 is a tall double-sided shelf board. A single road runs through the middle, with six short rows feeding from the left and six from the right. The top turn is narrow, and every row must cross the same center line.

Follow this paired route:

left cyan -> right red -> left green -> right pale row -> left purple -> right orange -> left blue -> right yellow -> left pink -> right white -> dark/red cleanup

The exact exposed row changes as the shelves shorten, but the important rule is to finish one side before switching across the spine.

Pair The Upper And Middle Shelves

Begin with cyan at the top-left. Cyan opens the first entrance into the spine. Clear red from the top-right next. Do not tap green until red has left the top turn.

Move green from the left bank, then the pale group across from it. Purple is the next left-side release. Orange follows from the right. Each pair removes one layer from both walls and prevents one side from becoming much taller than the other.

Blue then clears a lower-left shelf. Yellow is its right-side partner. Finish pink from the remaining left row and white from the lower-right. The central road should be nearly empty after every pair.

Dark cars and leftover red form the final cleanup. They are safe late because the shorter shelves no longer feed traffic into both ends of the spine.

When One Side Gets Ahead

If several left rows are empty but the right wall is still tall, stop opening the left. Complete the right-side color currently nearest the road. The same applies in reverse. A balanced board is much easier to recover than one side drained completely.

If a car stops at the top bend, finish its matching row before tapping below it. If the lower spine is blocked, clear the active blue, yellow, pink, or white group rather than adding the final dark cars.

This Level 49 solution is less about a single color priority and more about controlling direction. Alternating completed shelf batches keeps the spine free, while random left-right taps leave opposing cars waiting in the only lane.

The lower pairs require a slower rhythm than the upper ones. Blue and yellow enter close to the long bottom section, so let the spine clear fully after blue before releasing yellow. Pink and white are the final opposing shelves; completing pink first leaves white a straight route through the center.

Use shelf height for recovery. If the active shelves are within one row of each other, resume alternating. If one side is two or more rows lower, stop that side and close the highest exposed color on the taller wall. This protects the route needed by the final dark/red cleanup.
