Car Sort: Color Puzzle Level 496 Solution Walkthrough
Route Reference
Key opening, middle, and finish positions for this route.

Two-Sided Shelf Layout
The opening board shows red, orange, yellow, cyan, green, purple, white, blue, and brown. The road runs down the middle, with left-side shelves pushing cars across and right-side rows waiting near the exit. If the vertical road fills with two colors, both sides stop.
Recommended order:
cyan upper-left -> red upper-right -> orange middle-left -> yellow middle road -> green right-lower -> purple lower-right -> white top-right -> blue bottom-left -> brown cleanup
Cyan and red open the upper road. Orange and yellow then clear the crowded middle.
Open The Vertical Road
Start with cyan near the top-left. It clears the first road segment and gives red a cleaner path. Red from the upper-right follows. Move red completely before starting orange.
Orange on the middle-left becomes safe after red. It opens the left shelf and stops the vertical road from holding too much traffic.
Middle Stabilizer
Yellow should move after orange. Yellow travels through the center and prepares the lower-right shelves. Green on the right-lower side follows, then purple from the lower-right. These are the checkpoint colors: once they leave, the road should look mostly open from top to bottom.
White on the top-right can be handled after the lower shelves are not blocking the road.
Use the middle road as the visual checkpoint. If yellow is still parked there, green should wait. If green is still feeding the right side, purple should wait. Level 496 becomes messy only when those middle colors overlap in the same vertical lane.
Bottom Cleanup
Blue from the bottom-left should wait until the vertical road is clean. Brown is a final cleanup color. Do not start blue if yellow or green is still sitting in the middle lane.
The last shelf should leave in a straight drop through the road. If it pauses, the middle still has a blocker.

Recovery Advice
If Level 496 jams, clear the color already occupying the vertical road. If bottom blue was opened too early, finish orange, yellow, or green first. The safe route works from top to center to bottom, with each shelf leaving as a full batch.
If the left shelves still have a same-color row exposed, clear that row before pulling from the right. The left side is what keeps the central road open for the final blue and brown cleanup.
