Car Sort: Color Puzzle Level 501 route reference

Reading The Square Lot

The opening board has a rounded square road around the middle parking zone. The upper columns are stacked tightly, and the bottom garages sit under three short exits. Because the center lot has only a little room, the first mistake is usually mixing a new color into the road before the existing blue or red cars have left.

Recommended order:

blue center row -> red center row -> orange side blockers -> yellow lower-middle -> green lower-right -> purple lower-left -> cyan upper-right -> pink edge cleanup

Blue is the best opener because it already occupies the upper part of the middle lot. Red follows from the lower middle row. Once those two groups leave, the road gains enough space for the bottom exits.

Blue And Red Opening

Start by sending the blue cars across the center. Let the full blue batch leave before touching the lower garages. This creates the first clear strip through the parking lot and prevents the right-side road from filling with a mixed line.

Red should be handled next. Red sits across the lower middle area, so moving it after blue opens the bottom edge of the square. If a small orange blocker appears on the outer road, clear it only when it is directly stopping the red path. Do not use orange as a full route color yet; at this stage it is mostly a gatekeeper.

After blue and red are gone, check the central road. It should look much wider, with the top columns still waiting and the lower garages ready to feed upward.

Lower Garage Release

Yellow from the lower-middle garage is the first large bottom group to move. It has a straight path once red is gone, and it opens the pocket used by green. Move yellow as one clean group. If yellow pauses in the road, the red center row was not fully cleared.

Green from the lower-right follows. Green needs the right side of the square to stay open, so do not bring purple out at the same time. Purple should wait until green has either finished or is almost completely through the road. Then clear purple from the lower-left garage.

The important checkpoint is the bottom edge. When yellow, green, and purple have each left as full groups, the lower half of Level 501 is stable. If those colors are mixed, the square road can lock even though several cars look close to the exit.

Upper Column Cleanup

Cyan and pink are late cleanup colors. Cyan from the upper-right column can move after the lower garages are no longer pushing cars upward. Pink appears along the left and right edges in the replay and should be treated as the final edge cleanup.

Orange leftovers should move only when they are no longer acting as road blockers. The replay shows the level becoming smooth once the center stays clear, so the finish is less about speed and more about not refilling the middle with two colors.

Recovery Advice

If Level 501 jams, look at the middle lot first. Finish blue or red before opening another garage. If the bottom exits were opened too early, rebuild the route by clearing yellow, then green, then purple in that order.

If your board does not match the route reference, do not chase the top columns immediately. The square road only becomes safe after the center rows and lower garages are emptied in sequence.
