Car Sort Level 74 Solution Walkthrough
Route Reference
Key opening, middle, and finish positions for this route.

Long Top Shelf And Bottom Locks
Car Sort Level 74 has a long horizontal shelf above the main road and several bottom stacks that are not ready at the start. The middle of the board contains black cars mixed with blue, pink, yellow, red, and orange, while the lower area has purple, green, and white groups waiting behind narrow mouths.
The level plays in two passes. The first pass opens the upper shelf and the main rectangular road. The second pass uses that road to pull the bottom groups into their garages. If you open the lower stacks early, the road fills with cars that cannot complete yet.
Route Reference
Follow this order:
- Black and yellow blockers near the top shelf
- Blue cars through the upper lane
- Pink center stack
- Orange and red side cars
- Purple bottom-left group
- Green bottom-center group
- White bottom-right cleanup
- Remaining yellow, blue, and red cars
The first black/yellow moves are not about finishing a color; they open the shelf. Blue and pink then clear the center. Orange and red are useful once the side road is moving. Purple, green, and white should wait until the bottom exits are no longer blocked.
Shelf-By-Shelf Detail
Start at the upper shelf. Clear the visible black and yellow blockers that are preventing the top road from feeding into the loop. These cars sit near the first choke point, so removing them gives the board its first real lane.
Once the top shelf opens, move blue. Blue has a clear path across the upper lane and helps separate the center from the lower stacks. Pink should follow because the pink column in the middle is one of the main pieces holding the board together. Send pink in a single run whenever possible.
After pink leaves, the side colors become safer. Orange and red can move around the rectangle without trapping the bottom. This is where you should resist the urge to tap purple or green just because they are visible. Their garages need a cleaner lower road.
When the main loop is open, bring out purple from the bottom-left area. Purple uses the lower entrance, so make sure no mixed color is parked at that mouth. Green should come after purple, then white can finish from the bottom-right stack.
The final pass is mostly cleanup: yellow, blue, and red cars that were blocked earlier can now travel directly. If the replay state looks different, match the nearest cleared shelf rather than restarting. Usually the fix is to remove one red or orange car from the side road before continuing.
Level 74 Mistake To Avoid
Do not drain the bottom row before the upper shelf has space. The bottom stacks are not the opener; they are the reward for clearing the center. Keep the road organized by completing one visible color group, then using its empty spaces for the next group.
