A Wide Oval Road Around One Center Row

Level 86 has four mixed towers above an oval road, one horizontal center row, and four numbered bays below.

Route order:

red upper-left -> yellow upper tower -> purple upper-middle -> green upper-right -> blue center row -> yellow lower-left -> purple lower-middle -> orange lower bay -> cyan lower-right

The single blue center row is the gate between the top and bottom phases. Clear all upper towers, then blue, before opening the numbered bays.

If a lower car stops on the oval, finish the bay already active. If blue remains in the center, close the bottom phase and complete it first. Level 86 is stable when the oval returns to empty after each vertical batch.

Using Blue As The Midpoint Check

Work across the four top towers in order rather than chasing matching cars below. Red clears the left entrance, yellow opens the first long section of the oval, and purple removes pressure from the upper-middle. Green is the last roof batch and should leave the upper curve empty.

The horizontal blue row is easy to underestimate because it appears to be ordinary center traffic. In practice it separates the two halves of the board. Send every blue car through before touching a numbered lower bay. When blue finishes, the oval should be empty and both bottom corners should be available; that is the clearest checkpoint in the walkthrough.

Start the lower phase with yellow on the left. Purple then uses the space yellow created, followed by orange. Cyan is safest last because it enters from the lower-right and otherwise competes for the same turn used by the earlier bays.

If the board jams, stop opening numbered covers. A car on the upper arc points to an unfinished roof color, while a car on the lower arc belongs to the current bay. Finish that exact batch. Avoid alternating left and right lower bays—the oval looks spacious, but two opposite streams meet at the side curves and remove the gap needed for the final cyan group.

Using The Empty Oval Test

Level 86 gives you a very clear visual test after every major batch. Once a top tower is complete, the oval should briefly contain no cars before the next tower begins. The most important version comes after the blue center row: both long sides and both rounded ends should be empty. If a blue car remains, the lower bays are still unsafe even when their covers are available.

During the numbered phase, repeat the same test after yellow, purple, and orange. A lingering car on the left curve belongs to the previous left-side group; one on the right curve will interfere with cyan. Finish that color rather than tapping another number. The final cyan batch is straightforward when it receives an entirely empty lower arc, and this disciplined pause is usually faster than recovering from two colors circulating in opposite directions.
