Middle Release

1. For Level 171, open with cyan upper ledge; it is closest to the usable road mouth and gives the deeper shelves their first buffer.
2. In Level 171, pink top group is safe once the earlier color has reached its garage; tapping it sooner usually crowds the turn.
3. Bring out yellow top group at this point in Level 171, when the road has a single direction and the matching garage path is no longer hidden.
4. Treat green side pocket as a controlled middle release for Level 171; clear the blocker in front of it before starting another shelf.
5. For Level 171, move red lower garage feed only after the lane from the previous batch is open; this keeps the next shelf from feeding into mixed traffic.
6. Leave purple cleanup for the late part of Level 171, after the route has enough empty road for direct garage movement.

Cyan clears the upper ledge, followed by the pink and yellow roof groups. Green must leave the side pocket before red begins feeding from the lower garage. If red stalls, look for green at the shared bend instead of opening purple. Once red parks, purple receives the full lower road. The useful checkpoint is an empty ledge above and an empty side turn beside the active lower color.

Cleanup Timing

Lower garages look available, but they need the upper ledge cleared first so cars can travel directly. If your board no longer matches the route reference, look for the area that should have opened after cyan upper ledge. Most failed attempts come from moving a lower or side group before that opener has finished.

For recovery, finish the color that already has cars in the road before tapping a new shelf.
