Three Horizontal Lanes Between Upper And Lower Banks
Car Sort: Color Puzzle Level 229 places four towers above, four numbered banks below, and three horizontal parking lanes between them. A stepped S-road runs from the top bank, around each lane, and down to the lower reserves. The center exposes purple/blue, red/yellow/green, and orange layers. The upper towers reveal yellow, orange, green, cyan, and white; the lower bank holds red, pink, purple, pale purple, and hidden layers.
The replay confirms a lane-by-lane route. Open the upper approach, clear the short top lane, move through the long orange middle lane, then hand the road to the lower counters.
Recommended route:
top yellow -> top orange -> top green -> top cyan/white -> upper center purple/blue -> middle red/yellow -> long orange lane -> lower red -> lower pink -> lower purple -> pale-purple cleanup
Finish every moving color before switching lanes.
Clear The Upper Towers And First Bend
Start with yellow from the left tower. Orange follows after the top bend empties, then green. Cyan or white on the right should wait until the preceding batch has cleared the first horizontal road.
Do not release a center purple car while a top car remains on the bend. The center lane joins immediately beneath it.
Opening checks:
- yellow clears the first bend;
- orange reaches its garage;
- green opens the right side;
- cyan/white completes before lower counters move.
If a top car stalls, finish its tower rather than opening the middle lane.
Use The Upper Center Lane As A Transition
The short upper-center lane contains purple and blue. Clear whichever color faces the open road, finish it, then move the second. This lane creates the buffer needed for the red/yellow group below.
Do not leave half a purple group parked while switching to blue. Both use the same short turn and can block the long middle lane's entrance.
The board is ready for the middle when the purple/blue shelf is empty, the top road no longer carries cars, and the next lane shows a clean visible color.
Clear The Long Orange Lane Without Interruption
Orange becomes the strongest middle batch. It spans most of the central lane and requires repeated trips along the S-road. Before starting it, finish any red or yellow cars exposed above it.
Send orange continuously. Do not pause to reduce a bottom counter. The replay shows orange as a full clean band after the upper colors resolve; once it begins moving, the road should belong to orange until the lane empties.
If a counter changes the lane to a different color, stop after orange. Leave the new front parked until the road clears.
The long orange row is the midgame gate. After it empties, the lower road and reserve mouths become accessible.
Open The Lower Banks In Visible Color Order
Red is a useful first bottom batch on the left. Pink follows, then purple and pale purple. Clear one complete layer and stop whenever the counter reveals a new color.
For each lower bank:
- expose one layer;
- complete its color;
- wait for the lowest bend to empty;
- inspect the next layer;
- switch banks only when the new color lacks a direct garage path.
Late replay frames show full red, pink, purple, and pale-purple columns below. These are cleanup groups. Choose the bank nearest an empty entrance and finish it completely.
Replay Recovery And Final Checks
If the first bend blocks, stop center and lower taps and finish the active top color. If the middle bend blocks, finish the lane color before returning to a tower. If the lowest bend blocks, stop every upper release and complete the reserve batch.
For mixed traffic, finish the car farther along the S-road, then complete the second color. Resume from the highest unfinished lane.
The replay provides three reliable checkpoints: yellow/orange/green/cyan form clean top columns, purple/blue clears the short lane before the long orange row, and lower red/pink/purple banks activate after the central lanes stop feeding traffic.
Avoid starting bottom purple while orange remains on the middle bend. Purple can reach the road but cannot pass the orange queue. Finish orange, reset the S-curve, then use purple.
An empty horizontal lane should remain empty while another batch travels. Do not refill it by opening a hidden layer. The visible gap proves that a whole feed has stopped and makes the next road handoff predictable.
Compare The First Run And Replay By Lane
The replay is useful because the three lane transitions remain easy to recognize even when counter values differ. In the opening state, upper towers still feed the first bend and the purple/blue lane is partly covered. At the middle checkpoint, the upper approach is clean and the long orange band dominates the center. At the late checkpoint, orange has stopped feeding cars and the bottom red/pink/purple banks stand as full columns.
If your board does not match, identify which lane is still active. Traffic above the orange band means an upper or transition color is unfinished. Traffic beside the orange band means the central gate is still active. Traffic below it means a lower counter was opened too soon.
Recover within that lane before touching another area. Finish the active color, wait for both adjoining bends to clear, and then return to the planned next lane. This is safer than restarting because most deviations change only the counter timing, not the required geographic order.
The final replay frame also confirms that empty lanes stay empty. Once a feed is complete, do not reopen it looking for a matching late color elsewhere.
Level 229 is a three-lane sequencing puzzle. The upper towers establish the first bend, purple/blue opens the transition lane, orange clears the central gate, and the bottom counters wait for an empty S-road. Preserve those handoffs and the final red, pink, and purple groups move directly to their garages.
