One Top Tower, One Bottom Bank, And A Dense Right Rack

Car Sort: Color Puzzle Level 241 uses one tall road along the left side of a dense rectangular rack. A small layered tower stands above the road and one numbered reserve bank hangs below it. The right rack contains white, cyan, green, pink, blue, orange, yellow, red, and covered rows. Every rack car must travel left before turning toward its garage.

The layout has only one lane, so the route is strictly shelf-based. The top tower opens the entrance, rows clear from the road-facing side downward, and the bottom bank waits until the long red/yellow cleanup.

Recommended route:

top pink layer -> upper rack red/white -> cyan row -> green row -> white middle row -> pink row -> blue -> orange -> yellow -> bottom counter layer -> final top blue and lower red

Finish the color already on the vertical road before tapping another row.

Open The Top Entrance

Begin with the visible pink layer in the small top tower. Complete it and wait for the upper-left bend to clear. A later orange or blue layer can remain parked while the rack becomes active.

Do not start a long rack row while a top car is still descending. The rack mouth joins immediately below the tower.

Opening checks:

  1. pink leaves the tower;
  2. the top bend empties;
  3. the highest road-facing rack color becomes accessible;
  4. the bottom counter remains closed.

If a top car stalls, finish its tower layer before touching the rack.

Clear The Rack From Top To Bottom

Red/white appears across the upper rows. Clear the exposed color nearest the road. Cyan follows as a full band, then green. White occupies a middle row and should wait until green has cleared the lane.

Pink becomes the next clean band. Blue, orange, and yellow form the lower rack and should move in that depth order.

Rack checkpoints:

  • upper red/white clears;
  • cyan leaves an empty shelf;
  • green uses the road alone;
  • middle white opens the lower half;
  • pink clears before blue/orange/yellow;
  • the bottom bank remains inactive.

If green and white meet, finish the color farther along the vertical lane, then complete the second. Do not add pink.

Why The Middle White Row Is The Main Gate

White spans the center of the rack and blocks access to the pink, blue, orange, and yellow rows below. It also requires the full left bend. Clear it as one uninterrupted batch.

Do not combine white from the bottom counter while the rack row is moving. They enter from opposite ends of the same lane and can face one another at the lower bend.

After white, the rack should show a broad empty strip and full colored rows below. That visible state marks the transition into lower cleanup.

Use The Bottom Counter Between Lower Rows

The hanging reserve bank contains hidden layers and later red/yellow traffic. Open one layer only when the road below the rack is empty. Complete its color and stop on every counter change.

Use the reserve between rack batches, not during them. If orange is moving, leave the bottom counter parked. After orange clears, a short matching or independent reserve layer can move, then yellow can finish the rack.

The replay shows the bottom bank remaining mostly closed until the rack has consolidated into clean bands. Follow that timing rather than trying to reduce its number early.

Final Blue, Yellow, And Red Cleanup

Blue appears both in the rack and as a late top tower layer. Clear the rack blue first. Return to the top only after the road resets.

Orange and yellow should move as full lower rows. Red is a final bottom or rack batch and needs the entire vertical lane. Do not mix yellow and red at the lower bend.

Replay Recovery And Lane Checks

If the upper bend blocks, stop rack and bottom taps and finish the active top color. If the lower bend blocks, stop the tower and complete the current rack/reserve batch.

If rack traffic meets a reserve car in the vertical lane, finish the rack color that has already passed the upper bend, then clear the reserve car from the lower bend. Resume at the highest right-hand shelf that still contains a full visible band.

Three replay states confirm progress: top pink opens the road; cyan/green/white/pink clears the upper and middle rack; blue/orange/yellow/red finishes only after the bottom half becomes exposed.

An empty shelf should remain empty. Do not expose a new layer simply because the visual gap looks like parking space. The gap proves one feed has stopped.

Use The Replay To Identify The Active Depth

The replay makes the rack depth easier to judge. Early, the top pink tower is active while red, cyan, green, and white remain stacked on the right. In the middle, cyan and green have opened the upper rack and white becomes the central gate. Late, pink, blue, orange, and yellow stand as clean lower bands while the bottom red reserve is still controlled.

If your board differs, find the highest rack row that still feeds a car onto the lane. Complete that color before moving lower. This restores the depth order without needing the same counter value as the replay.

The replay also shows that the single top tower may retain a later blue or orange layer while the rack is active. Leave it parked. Returning to it during a long lower band introduces traffic from above and can trap the batch at the center of the lane.

Before the final red group, confirm the top tower, rack mouths, and bottom counter are not simultaneously active. One source should own the road. That check turns the last cleanup into a direct run rather than a late mixed queue.

Level 241 is a single-lane depth puzzle. The top tower opens the entrance, the dense right rack clears downward, middle white marks the handoff, the lower counter releases only between rows, and final colors use an otherwise empty road. Respect that depth order and every batch has a direct garage route.
