Understanding the S-curve

The road starts with an upper hook on the right, descends between the banks, bends around the bottom, and returns along the outer side. Cars from the right bank enter the central spine immediately. Cars from the left bank must cross one of the narrow bends.

The left rows are short but mixed, containing green, red, yellow, cyan, blue, pink, purple, orange, and numbered cars. The right rows are longer and become strong complete groups after their exposed blockers move.

The counter holds fourteen cars. The S-road provides length but not true parking capacity: a stopped car at either hook can block several rows.

Suggested route order

Use this priority:

cyan → pink → purple → pale violet → red → green → orange → yellow → blue → numbered and dark cleanup

Cyan opens a lower-right row and matches visible left cars. Pink and purple clear the upper-middle right bank. Pale violet removes a broad lower-right row.

Red and green then simplify the left bank. Orange and yellow open the lower hook. Blue and the numbered cars become safer once both bends are empty.

First pass on the right bank

Start with cyan from the exposed lower-right row and matching left source. Keep the bottom hook dedicated to cyan until the group completes.

Pink is the best upper transition. Its right-side row becomes available quickly and can use the upper hook after cyan leaves. Finish pink before moving purple; both occupy adjacent shelves and share the same turn.

Purple follows as a long coherent group. Removing it opens the middle of the right bank and exposes orange or dark cars deeper inside.

Pale violet should be cleared next from the lower-middle row. Its cars travel around the bottom hook, so do not begin red from the left during this sequence.

The first checkpoint is a right bank with cyan, pink, purple, and pale violet consolidated into clean rows or destinations. Both hooks should briefly be empty.

Opening the left numbered rows

The left bank has several covers marked with counts. Let the counters advance while clearing visible right-side groups. When a cover changes, take the revealed car only if its color is already active.

Red is a strong first left-bank color. It appears in multiple short rows and in the right progression. Complete it as soon as enough matches are exposed.

Green follows and clears the middle-left shelves. Avoid starting yellow from a covered row at the same time. Red and green should create empty access lanes before numbered colors multiply.

If a cover exposes blue or orange without enough partners, leave it in place. The S-curve is more valuable than one newly available car.

Lower hook: orange and yellow

Orange appears in the bottom-left and right-middle shelves. Once the left bank has space, combine these sources through the lower hook. Complete orange in one run.

Yellow then uses the same bend. Some yellow cars are visible on the left, while the right bank supplies the rest later. Wait until a full group is reachable.

Do not alternate orange and yellow. Their cars approach the bend from different positions and can form a standstill. One finished color clears both road and counter space for the next.

The developed board shows orange and green groups on the left while red, pink, purple, pale violet, and cyan form clean right rows. This is the target middle structure.

Blue and late numbered groups

Blue is distributed among left rows and a right-side reveal. It should wait until the upper hook is free. Then complete the entire group through one direction of travel.

Numbered garages may reveal familiar colors again. Treat each as a supplier for the group currently closest to completion. Do not empty all numbered rows together.

Dark cars sit behind brighter end cars and become aligned late. Once the left short rows and long right bands are gone, complete each dark group directly.

At the final checkpoint, the S-road should be almost empty while uniform rows occupy both sides. A car circling alone means its color was started too early; find its visible matches before tapping anything new.

Recovery advice

If the upper hook is blocked, finish pink, purple, red, or blue according to the waiting car. Do not send a lower color toward it.

If the bottom hook is blocked, finish cyan, pale violet, orange, or yellow. Stop opening numbered left rows.

If the counter contains too many colors, choose a long complete row on the right. Clearing it creates more room than moving a short left pair.

If a numbered release introduces an unusable car, leave adjacent covers closed and return to the visible right bank.

If both banks are active at once, select one hook and clear its current traffic completely. The opposite bank can wait without losing access.

On restart, use the road as two checkpoints: cyan and pale violet own the lower bend early; pink and purple own the upper bend; red and green open the left; orange and yellow clear the bottom; blue, numbered groups, and dark cars finish on an open S.

The Level 261 solution is about assigning each bend to one color at a time. Clear coherent right-bank rows before opening multiple numbered left garages, and never let opposite traffic meet inside a hook. Once both curves are controlled, the board's many colors become a predictable sequence.
