Mapping the square ring

The two side stations on the left and right begin with orange and red, while the round center exposes blue early and later turns into a red checkpoint. The top towers carry black, pink, cyan, yellow, and purple layers. The lower columns show green, red, cyan, yellow, and purple fronts.

The square loop has four corners, but only two of them feel generous. The lower-left corner can host a finishing batch for green or yellow, and the upper-right corner becomes safe only after a side station has fully emptied. That is why the early game must be strict.

The counter is comfortable for short bursts, but it is not wide enough for two open stations and one active top tower at the same time.

Recommended route order

Use:

blue → orange → green → red → yellow → cyan → purple → pink → pale cleanup

Blue is already seated in the round center and has easy support from below. Orange clears the left station and opens the first reliable lane. Green uses the lower-left space that orange creates. Red then clears the right station. Yellow and cyan are the first tall top-tower colors that become safe after both side stations stop competing.

Blue opening and first checkpoint

Start by finishing the visible blue through the center. That is the least controversial opening move because blue does not ask the square ring to choose between left and right traffic yet.

Do not touch the top pink tower before blue is stable. The replay around the first thirty seconds still shows the upper towers mostly untouched, because the station work comes first. Once blue leaves, the round center is no longer carrying unrelated leftovers and orange has a clear left-side route.

The first checkpoint is a quiet center with blue already complete and one side of the square ready for the next phase.

Orange left station and green lower handoff

Orange is the first side-station color to clear. Move the visible orange group in one sweep and keep the bottom edge free while it travels. Orange matters because it opens the left half of the square and stops the left station from interfering with later green and cyan routes.

Green should come next while the left side is still quiet. Several green pieces sit in the lower-left area and the outer ring, and they become awkward if red has already claimed the opposite side. In the replay, green finishes before the right station becomes the focus, and that sequencing is correct.

Red right station

Red is the mirror image of orange, but it is more dangerous because it sits closer to the top-tower exits. Prepare the road first, then clear the right station as a single color phase.

If you open yellow or cyan from above while red is still half-finished, the right half of the square turns into a double queue. Resist that temptation. Red's value is not just the clear itself. It gives the upper-right corner back to the board for the late towers.

At the middle checkpoint, blue, orange, green, and red should already be organized, and the square ring should look much emptier than it did in the opening.

Yellow and cyan towers

Yellow becomes the first long tower color that can travel cleanly after both side stations are solved. It uses the top edge and the right side comfortably once red is gone. Cyan follows from the tall upper stack and the lower support pieces. Keep cyan separate from blue even though they share part of the same road.

The replay frames around the two-minute mark show this stage clearly: the board is no longer station-driven, and the top towers are finally allowed to empty in long uninterrupted runs. That is the shift you want.

Purple, pink, and the last short sets

Purple is a late consolidation color from the top and lower-right leftovers. Pink is held back even longer because it sits in the same broad upper cluster that originally looked tempting in the opening. By the time pink moves, the square ring is already quiet enough that it can finish with little resistance.

Any pale leftover shades at the end should be treated one full group at a time. Do not rebuild the exact replay slot assignment if you have reached this phase with a clean board. Uniform columns matter more than matching every final destination from the video.

Recovery advice

If the round center is blocked, finish the color already using it. Do not start a station color while the center is occupied by another batch.

If the left side is blocked, finish orange or green. If the right side is blocked, finish red or the active top-tower color that already owns the upper-right turn.

If you are unsure whether it is time to move yellow or cyan, ask one question: are both side stations finished? If not, it is too early.

The safest restart checkpoint is simple: blue complete, orange complete, green complete, red complete. If you can re-establish those four truths, the top-tower finish becomes much easier to recover.

Car Sort Level 283 detailed route reference

Level 283 is a station-first board. Use blue to stabilize the center, let orange and green claim the left half, let red settle the right half, and only then cash the top towers into yellow, cyan, purple, and pink. That order keeps the square ring open enough to behave like a route instead of a waiting room.
