How the numbered garage works

A cylinder marked 1 needs one matching release, while 2 and 3 require additional completed batches before they open. The number is a dependency marker, not a suggested tap order. Keep the square road one color at a time so each completed group is credited cleanly.

Start with the exposed red block on the left. Red uses the left and bottom edges and supplies the first easy garage count. Blue follows from the right block after red has parked. These two batches teach the level's rhythm and begin opening the six cylinders.

Use this continuation:

red → blue → yellow → purple → pale cyan → orange → pink → green

Yellow appears from a newly opened lower cylinder and has a direct lower-road route. Purple follows from the neighboring garage. Pale cyan then uses the upper edge, opening more of the top cylinders. Orange should wait until cyan is complete because both approach the same right-hand corner.

Pink and green are the final tall columns. Run pink first through the open square, then green from the last exposed cylinder. By that stage the numbered covers are gone and the remaining cars are ordinary full-column batches.

If a cylinder does not open, finish the active road color rather than tapping a different cover. If the road contains both red and blue at the start, complete the batch closest to its garage and let the other color wait. When a number remains above a cylinder, look for its matching visible group; do not use another cylinder as temporary storage.

Read the numbers as dependencies

The six cylinders do not create six independent routes. They all feed the same square, and their numbers only tell you how many prerequisite deliveries remain. A cylinder marked 1 may open quickly, while a 3 stays closed through several colors. The safe response is to finish the current batch and watch which cylinder changes, not to tap every numbered cover.

Red and blue provide the starting lesson. Red owns the left and lower edges first. Once its full group is accepted, blue can use the right and upper edges without meeting red at a corner. If both colors are circulating, the square loses the spare lane required when the first cylinder opens.

The first checkpoint is an empty left side after red and an empty right side after blue. One or more cylinder faces should have changed, revealing the next usable color. Follow that visible release instead of guessing which high number will fall next.

Unlock the lower pair before the final towers

  1. Complete the red starting block on the left. Let every red car park before selecting blue.
  2. Drain the exposed blue block on the right. The square should now be clear enough for the first cylinder release.
  3. Move yellow from the newly opened lower cylinder. Yellow uses the bottom edge and reduces the next dependency.
  4. Clear purple from the neighboring lower garage. Keep cyan waiting above while purple turns through the bottom corners.
  5. Release pale cyan along the upper side. Cyan connects the lower unlock work to the top cylinder row.
  6. Send orange through the right-hand corner after cyan has parked.
  7. Drain pink from its revealed tall column. By now most numbered covers should have disappeared.
  8. Finish green from the last exposed cylinder, using the full empty square.
  9. Resolve any short red, blue, or yellow remnant according to the final garage face.

Yellow and purple are the middle bridge. They are not merely two more colors in the list: completing them makes the lower cylinder pair stop controlling the road. Cyan and orange then release the top side, leaving pink and green as ordinary tower clears.

Check the square after every cylinder change

When a cover opens, pause before tapping its new column. First make sure the previous color has completely left the road. A newly visible yellow, purple, cyan, or orange group can wait safely behind its cylinder; it becomes a problem only after it enters a square that still contains the old batch.

At the halfway checkpoint, red and blue should be gone, yellow and purple should be completed, and the square should contain at most the active cyan or orange group. At the late checkpoint, the covers are mostly absent and a single tall pink or green column remains. If the board has several small colors instead, an earlier cylinder batch was left unfinished.

Recovering from the wrong cylinder

If you tap a newly opened cylinder early, stop after the first car and complete the batch already on the road. Once that older color parks, finish the accidentally opened color before returning to the route. Two colors can sometimes be untangled around opposite sides, but adding a third removes that option.

If a number refuses to change, inspect the matching visible block rather than another cylinder. A single red or blue starter car can keep the early chain frozen. Later, a yellow or purple car waiting at a lower corner can prevent the upper cyan release from becoming clean.

When pink and green are both available near the end, use the garage face and road position to decide. Pink normally runs first because it is exposed earlier and leaves green the whole square. If green has already entered the road, complete green instead of forcing the reference order. The underlying rule is always one complete color per lap.

This level becomes much simpler once the covers vanish. Resist using the cylinders as parking spaces; they are gates whose contents should remain untouched until the previous delivery has finished.

Car Sort Level 301 detailed route reference

The Level 301 solution is a clean introduction to garage counts. Red and blue start the unlock chain, yellow and purple open the lower pair, and cyan, orange, pink, and green finish as each numbered cylinder becomes available.
