Car Sort: Color Puzzle Level 331 route reference

Open the upper arm of the S

Begin with red from the upper-left shelf, followed by yellow. Pink is the main exposed color across the upper shelves and should move as a complete band. Pale cyan follows after pink has vacated the inside corner.

A practical order is:

red → yellow → pink upper bands → pale cyan → green middle shelf → blue middle shelf → yellow and pale-purple lower shelf → bottom green/red silos → top blue/brown/orange reserves → final pink/cyan cleanup

Do not open the lower silos during the first four colors. Their cars enter at the opposite end of the same S-curve and can meet the upper traffic head-on at the middle bend.

Mark the three turns of the S-curve

The road has an upper-left entrance, a tight right-hand middle turn, and a lower-left exit beside the silos. Judge every phase by those three corners. Red and yellow should clear the first corner. Pink and cyan should leave the middle turn empty. Green and blue then open the lower exit.

If the upper-left entrance still shows a pink marker when cyan begins, finish pink. If the right-hand turn contains cyan when a lower shelf opens, let cyan reach its garage before moving downward. The board can tolerate one active batch across the three turns, but not two approaching from opposite directions.

Turn the middle shelves into a passing lane

Clear green from the first small middle shelf, then blue from the shelf below it. Removing those groups creates the only generous passing area on the board. Yellow becomes exposed on the lower shelf and should leave before pale purple. This order keeps the bottom-left entrance free.

Once pale purple completes, the bottom numbered silos can drain. Take green first and red second. If another small color face appears between them, finish the active silo before switching; its counter controls which top reserve opens next.

The lower-silo reset

After green and red, the lower-left road should be completely open and the small middle shelves should show dark empty spaces. This is the safest moment to change direction. Do not send a top car down while a lower marker is still climbing; allow the last silo batch to disappear and use the empty middle shelf as a passing bay.

The replay can make this transition look immediate because the animations overlap. The important state is not the animation itself but the empty lower bend that follows it.

Reverse direction for the upper reserves

The late game sends blue, brown, and orange down from the top. Blue has the longest descent and should move while the S-curve is empty. Brown follows through the central passing lane, then orange. The order prevents orange from occupying the upper-right bend while the darker batch is still turning.

Pink and pale cyan remain as the final broad shelf groups. Clear pink first because it sits closer to the upper entrance; cyan then travels through an almost empty road. The replay shows the board repeatedly switching between the upper and lower silos, but each switch happens only after a complete color batch.

Late tower order and shelf return

Blue descends the longest distance and needs all three turns free. Brown is shorter but still crosses the middle, so it follows blue. Orange enters beside the top-right corner and should be complete before the broad pink shelf returns. Once those towers are empty, the remaining shelf colors are no longer competing with traffic from above.

Clear the late pink band across its exposed faces rather than alternating with cyan. Pink opens the last inside corner; cyan then becomes a straight cleanup route. If a yellow face appears again in a numbered silo, complete it only after the current tower color leaves the S-curve.

If traffic stops at the center, finish whichever color entered the S first. If the lower silos stay covered, look for yellow or pale purple on the middle shelves. If a top counter refuses to fall, a green, red, or blue batch from the opposite end is incomplete.

Recovery by road position

A car trapped above the middle turn belongs to the opening shelves or a top tower. Complete that exposed color from above. A car trapped below the turn belongs to green, red, yellow, or pale purple from the middle and lower sections. Completing the batch on the same side is safer than opening a matching color at the opposite end.

If two colors meet at the middle, choose the one closer to its destination and finish it completely. Do not alternate taps in an attempt to balance the queue. Restart is only necessary when both ends contain incomplete colors and the tight middle turn has no empty cell; most one-color mistakes can be recovered through the open outer arm.

The Level 331 solution is about direction control. The upper shelves travel down the first arm, the middle shelves create a buffer, the bottom silos clear upward, and only then do the tall top reserves use the full S-curve for the final pink-and-cyan cleanup.

Before the final cyan batch, check all three turns again. The upper entrance should show no tower marker, the middle bend should be dark and empty, and the lower exit should contain no silo traffic. If one corner fails that check, finish the color associated with that side before tapping cyan. This preserves the intended one-direction finish and avoids sending the last broad shelf into an occupied bend.
