Understand the staircase

Blue, red, green, orange, purple, cyan, yellow, pink, and white are layered in the left tower bank. The right side begins mostly covered, with each shelf opening after a complete left-side group or a newly exposed right-side face is cleared. Higher steps connect first; lower steps become useful only after the center road has been emptied several times.

Follow this route:

upper blue → red and orange → green upper face → first right-side purple → cyan left column → yellow shelf → pink/white middle steps → returning blue and red → green lower row → orange-purple cleanup

Repeated colors are separate shelf layers. Never start a deeper blue or red merely because the opening batch has the same color.

Reduce the upper-left tower bank

Clear the blue face nearest the horizontal road. Red follows when blue leaves the entrance. Orange should move next if it occupies the exposed corner, with green following from the adjacent column. Complete every face before changing color; the narrow connector has no space for a parked remainder.

The first cleared groups make the highest covered step turn over. When a purple face appears on the right, wait for the last green marker to disappear, then clear purple as a single batch. This creates the first true buffer shelf on the staircase.

Your opening checkpoint should show a dark upper-left corner, an empty horizontal road, and one open right step. If the road still carries red or orange, finish that source before using purple.

Descend one step at a time

Cyan becomes the next complete left-side column. Clear it, then use the counter change to release yellow on the right. Yellow cars need the upper step to remain empty, so do not start a lower pink group while yellow is travelling.

Pink and white occupy the middle steps. Clear the face closest to the open connector, let its cars leave, then drain the other. Each finished step adds dark space, but that space is only useful if it remains free. Avoid filling it with a partial group from the lower-left bank.

Handle the returning blue-red layers

Blue and red reappear after the middle covers open. The new blue is a deeper left layer and often controls the inside of the horizontal road. Finish blue first, then red. Orange may become visible behind red, but it should wait until both repeated colors have fully reached their garages.

This blue-red pair is the main release point. Their removal exposes the broad green lower row and opens the last two right-side steps. Green should then leave as one continuous batch. Splitting green to tap an attractive purple or yellow face on the right creates opposing traffic at the connector.

At the late checkpoint, the upper half of the left bank is dark, the three highest staircase steps are open, and only solid lower rows remain.

Finish the lowest steps

Orange and purple usually lead the final pass. Clear orange first when it touches the road, then purple from the next open step. Pink, white, yellow, or cyan may be revealed as short cleanup faces. Work from the highest connected step downward rather than choosing by color.

If two complete faces are visible, choose the one whose cars have the shortest path to the empty connector. A lower face that must cross an occupied upper step is not ready even when all its cars match.

Let the counter animation finish after every group. A newly bright face can appear a fraction before the previous cars vanish, and tapping during that overlap is the most common cause of a late mixed queue.

Recovery advice

A stopped car on the left half of the road belongs to the active tower face. Complete that left-side color. A marker stranded on a right step belongs to the most recently opened shelf; clear the rest of that exact face. Do not search another layer for a matching color, because its garage counter is separate.

If the highest step is occupied by two colors, finish the earlier group first and leave the later source untouched. When a lower cover remains closed, one adjacent step has not been fully drained. Inspect the row immediately above it and clear the remaining solid face.

Restart only if partial colors block both sides of the connector and neither source can release enough cars to complete. In most mistakes, one visible column still matches the stranded marker and will restore the correct order.

Before the final batch, verify that the left bank contains one colored face at most, every higher staircase step is dark, and the horizontal road is empty. The last cars should cross the connector without pausing. If they stop on a step, return to the previous face and finish its hidden remainder.

Level 385 works by turning each cleared color into a lower stair opening. Blue, red, orange, and green unlock the top; purple, cyan, yellow, pink, and white descend through the middle; the repeated blue-red pair exposes the broad green row; and orange-purple finish the base. Following the staircase is safer than chasing colors across layers.

Use the dark steps as a progress count. Before the second blue-red layer, the highest three steps should already be empty. Before orange-purple cleanup, only the base should retain color. If your staircase has a colored step above an empty one, finish that higher face before proceeding downward.

The final connector should look like one uninterrupted dark bridge. A marker midway across it identifies the exact stair level that still needs its remaining cars released.
