A Packed Center Between Four Top And Four Bottom Towers
Car Sort: Color Puzzle Level 224 wraps a rectangular road around a dense stack of horizontal rows. Four layered towers stand above and four more stand below. The center begins with green, pink, white, red, and dark covered cars packed into a narrow block. The top towers reveal purple, cyan, green, yellow, orange, and blue, while the bottom holds purple, red, green, orange, cyan, and numbered layers.
The center is the real gate. Top and bottom towers may look accessible, but all their cars share the road around the packed rows. The route must establish one side of the rectangle, peel the center from its road-facing edge, and delay bottom counters until the central block becomes clean horizontal bands.
Recommended route:
top purple/cyan -> top green -> top yellow/orange -> road-edge center pink -> center green -> center red -> center white -> lower center pink -> bottom purple -> bottom green -> bottom orange/cyan -> final top yellow/blue
Treat counter changes as checkpoints. If a new color appears while another batch is travelling, leave it parked.
Open The Top Corners One Color At A Time
Begin with the left top tower, clearing purple or cyan through the left side. Green follows from the next visible full column. Yellow/orange can then use the right side after the top road is empty.
Do not alternate top towers. A purple car at the upper-left corner and an orange car at the upper-right corner leave no side for the center to release.
Opening checks:
- the first left tower shortens;
- green reaches its garage;
- yellow/orange clears the right corner;
- the center remains inactive until one vertical side is fully open.
If a top car stalls, finish that tower. Bottom traffic cannot create another route.
Peel The Center From Its Exposed Edge
Pink is the first strong road-edge center batch. Clear pink completely, then move green from the next exposed row. Red follows as a long middle band. White should wait until red is no longer using the perimeter.
The route snapshots show the center reorganizing into clean red, pale-purple, white, and pink rows. That is the intended midgame state. Do not try to remove a deep white car through an upper layer that still feeds red.
Center rhythm:
- clear the exposed edge color;
- wait for both nearby corners to empty;
- reveal the next horizontal band;
- finish that band;
- stop if the layer changes color;
- continue only when the road is single-color.
If red and white enter together, finish the color farther around the rectangle. Then complete the second before tapping lower pink.
Use White As The Divider Between Upper And Lower Rows
The long white band marks the transition from upper center work to the lowest pink row. White needs the entire right edge and bottom corner. Keep bottom towers closed while it travels.
After white, the center should show a broad empty strip above a clean pink row. If a white car remains at a corner, finish white before starting pink. The final pink band then opens the lower road for reserve towers.
This checkpoint matters because bottom counters enter directly beneath the center. Opening them before white/pink clears creates a mixed queue across the whole bottom edge.
Open The Bottom Towers From Left To Right
Purple is a practical first lower batch on the left once the center becomes quiet. Green follows from the next tower. Orange and cyan occupy the right half and should move only after the lower-right corner empties.
For each numbered bottom layer:
- expose one color;
- finish it from that tower;
- wait for the road to clear;
- inspect the next layer;
- switch towers only when the new color has no direct path.
Late checkpoints show purple, green, orange, and cyan as full lower columns. Clear these complete groups rather than reducing counters evenly.
Final Upper Towers And Recovery
Yellow, green, cyan, and blue become strong upper cleanup towers after the original covers reduce. Leave the longest top batch until the center and bottom have stopped producing traffic. Then finish one full tower through an empty perimeter.
If the top edge blocks, stop center and bottom taps and complete the active top color. If the bottom blocks, finish the center/lower color already nearest a garage.
For mixed traffic, stop opening covers, complete the leading color, finish the second exposed color, and return to the highest unfinished center row. Do not add a third color merely because its garage looks ready.
Three board checks confirm the route: top corners open before deep center rows, the center resolves into red/white/pink bands, and bottom purple/green/orange/cyan towers activate only after the packed block is reduced.
Keep The Right Edge Available For Long Bands
The center's white and pink rows are longer than the small opening groups. Each sends several cars toward the right edge in succession. Before starting either one, inspect both the upper-right and lower-right corners. A single yellow or green car left there can stop the entire band halfway through.
If the right edge is not clear, finish the corner color from its current top or bottom tower. Do not tap part of the white row and hope the road will open during the animation. Waiting preserves the empty left side as a buffer and lets the long row move continuously once it starts.
After a long band clears, allow one full road reset before switching to the opposite bank. This pause is especially important before bottom orange or cyan. Their towers look ready, but they need the same edge the center just used. The empty-edge check is more reliable than the visible counter value.
Level 224 is a center-release puzzle. The top towers establish two sides, the central rows empty from the road edge inward, white separates the upper and lower phases, and bottom counters wait for a clear perimeter. Preserve those handoffs and the final cyan, orange, and yellow columns travel without blocking one another.
