Map the two islands and their entrances

The upper island begins with white on the left and pink on the right. Its middle cells are hidden behind counters, with small red and blue faces near the road. The lower island shows pink-red cars on the left and darker blue-red faces on the right, while its covered center holds a tall cyan-orange-green stack. Four narrow garages sit above the loop and four more sit below it.

The dependable route is:

upper white → upper pink → right-edge blue and green → lower cyan release → pink-red lower-left → orange-green center column → purple upper outside columns → red upper return → cyan top-right → green lower middle → orange lower-right → blue lower-left → final red and pink pairs

The outer road is long, but there is only one lane. A complete group can travel freely around it; two incomplete groups will meet along the right straight or at the tight lower corners. Make every color hand the road back empty before changing islands.

Strip the upper island from the outside inward

Start with the full white column on the upper-left. It enters close to the top-left bend and clears the first side of the island. Pink follows from the upper-right face once the white markers have disappeared. Clearing these two columns exposes the first useful middle cells and begins lowering the upper counters.

Take the small blue face on the right when it becomes complete, then clear the green group connected to the same side. Do not release a matching green garage from below yet. The upper group must complete its lap before the lower entrance is used.

At the first checkpoint, white and pink should be dark, the right side of the upper island should have a visible gap, and a cyan or red center face should be available. If the road still carries pink when you tap blue, wait rather than adding green; the last pink car needs the open right straight.

Let cyan bridge the two halves

Cyan is the first important handoff between the islands. A small cyan group appears near the bottom entrance, then a taller cyan face is revealed in the lower center. Clear the complete cyan source nearest the road and allow it to finish. Its departure opens the covered column that holds orange and green.

Now clear the pink-red face on the lower-left side. Pink should leave before red when pink is already connected to the open lane. Red follows only after the bottom bend is dark. These two batches reduce the lower-left block and make the tall middle column readable.

Move orange from the exposed section of that column, followed by green. Each should be a full batch. Orange often appears as a short middle face while green occupies a taller layer, so do not judge their order only by size. The correct source is the one with an uninterrupted line to the lower edge.

Open the upper garages in pairs

The garages above the road change from small covered stacks into tall purple, red, and cyan columns. Clear the first complete purple column after the road resets. A second purple face may appear nearby; treat it as a separate batch and finish the column already attached to the loop before touching its neighbor.

Red becomes the next long upper group. Give it the entire perimeter, especially the right straight. Once red is gone, cyan on the upper-right has room to enter without meeting the earlier cyan traffic. This later cyan column is deeper in the level and should not be started during the opening bridge phase.

The middle checkpoint shows purple and red towers visible above, the upper island reduced to white, red, or green blocks, and the lower center opened into green and orange columns. The numbered covers should have fallen substantially. If a cover remains unchanged, look for one car in the last active outside tower before switching islands.

Sweep the lower island column by column

Return to the lower island and clear the tall green center column. Green creates a wide dark channel through the lower half. Orange then leaves from the right-hand face. Keep the right road edge clear until every orange marker has reached its matching garage.

Blue occupies a strong lower-left or center face after orange clears. Drain it as one batch. A red block becomes visible behind blue, but it should wait until the road has completed the blue lap. The late arrangement is much cleaner than the opening: instead of many counters, there are several tall solid-color columns. Use that simplification and finish one vertical face at a time.

The lower outside garages may expose red, purple, pink, and pale-blue columns. Choose the one whose entrance is already dark. If both bottom corners are open, prioritize the full column nearest the side where the previous batch exited; this avoids sending a new group head-on into a lingering road marker.

Complete the upper and lower red-pink return

Red returns in both islands during cleanup. Clear the upper red face first when it controls the right straight, then reset and take the lower red column. Pink should follow from the remaining side rather than being alternated with red. Although the groups share similar road space, their counters belong to different island layers.

Purple and cyan are usually reduced to one final outside tower each. Finish the connected purple tower, wait for all four road corners to darken, and then drain cyan. A remaining orange or green column can use the completely open rectangle afterward.

Before the last tap sequence, inspect both islands. The covered center squares should be gone, the left and right white faces should be dark, and only one solid column should remain above or below. A colored car circulating without a visible matching face usually means its source has one car hidden behind the edge of an adjacent column; finish that source before touching the final garage.

Recovery for island-crossing mistakes

If the upper-right corner blocks, return to the active upper face—usually pink, blue, green, purple, red, or cyan—and complete it. Do not use a lower group to push traffic forward; cars cannot pass one another on the single lane.

A stall at the lower-left bend points to pink, red, cyan, green, blue, or a late outside column. Find the garage that fed that bend and keep the opposite island inactive. The stalled color generally clears as soon as its last two cars are released.

If a numbered cover in the upper island remains at the same value, verify that both exposed side columns have been emptied. If the lower center stays covered, finish the lower-left pink-red face and the cyan bridge before opening orange. Counters respond to the groups in their own island, not to matching colors elsewhere.

When two colors are already mixed, stop all new taps and watch which color still moves. Complete the moving color's source first. Once those markers disappear, finish the stationary group. Only restart when neither source is accessible and the two colors remain locked at opposite corners.

Level 403 has a clear rhythm once the islands are kept separate. White and pink peel open the upper block, cyan carries progress to the lower center, orange and green uncover its vertical core, and the tall purple-red-cyan garages above prepare the final lower sweep. Finish each entrance completely, use the dark perimeter as your checkpoint, and the red-pink cleanup can travel around an empty rectangle without a jam.
